Bing and Copilot users searching locally. Far smaller than Google, but the listing takes a fraction of the effort — much of it can be imported from your Google Business Profile — and it increasingly feeds answers in Microsoft's AI surfaces.
What a strong listing looks like
The same NAP data as your Google profile, character for character. Consistency across listings is the entire value of a second local citation; a Bing record that disagrees with Google is worse than no Bing record.

Is there an API?
A partner API exists (POST /CreateBusinesses, client-certificate authenticated) but it is gated behind Microsoft's trusted partner programme and aimed at bulk listing management. Note that its published documentation has not been updated since Bing Places was rebuilt in late 2025 — verify before building against it.
Can I import from Google?
Bing Places has long supported importing an existing Google Business Profile, which is the fastest route for a single location.
