Gartner Peer Insights

Depends on your product. DR 92 and real enterprise reach, but the review verification bar is high — worth it only if you sell to enterprises and can get practitioners there to write verified reviews.

Domain Rating 92 · 2.1M monthly visits · Free + paid upgrades · live in 3-7 days (third-party figures, sourced 2026-08-01).

Who actually reads it

Enterprise IT and procurement. These are buyers who read Gartner research as part of a formal evaluation, and Peer Insights ranks well for category and competitor searches in both Google and LLM answers. It is the wrong audience for an early-stage product selling to SMBs.

What a strong listing looks like

Reviews from named enterprise practitioners at recognisable companies — Gartner verifies reviewer identity and employment, so you cannot shortcut this. A precise category placement matters more here than anywhere else, because enterprise buyers filter to a Gartner-defined market and read only what is inside it.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

A vendor profile is free; Gartner sells paid programmes on top.

Do I need reviews first?

You need them to get value. Gartner verifies each reviewer's identity and employer, so review collection is slower here than on G2 or Capterra.

Is it worth it for a startup?

Usually not. Our source explicitly does not recommend it for early-stage companies or anyone not selling to enterprises.
