Slant
We'd skip this one. We can source no current traffic or domain rating, and the community-maintained topics are largely dormant — like SoftwareWorld, it is here because our submission worker listed it, not because we recommend it.
Free.
Who actually reads it
People searching "best X for Y" and finding a Slant recommendation thread. The pro/con format is genuinely useful when a topic is active, but many topics have not been updated in years, and a stale thread is worse than no thread.
What a strong listing looks like
A community member adding a well-argued pro to an active topic. Vendors cannot really manage a presence here — the format resists it, which is the point of the site and also the reason it is hard to use as a channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes.
Can I manage my own listing?
Not meaningfully. Entries are community-written pros and cons, and self-promotion is visible and unwelcome.
Why is it in the catalog?
Our own submission worker included it. We are keeping the entry so the honest answer is on the record.
