How it works
- Publish — After every publish, links are parsed out of the article HTML into a live graph. Inbound counts on every article stay current automatically.
- Scan — Open any article and click Scan. AI reads it against your top published pieces and returns up to five suggestions — target, anchor text, relevance, and the paragraph where the link fits.
- Insert — Review each card, edit the anchor text if you like, and click Insert. The link is injected into the article for you — nothing is placed without your approval.

How is this different from an SEO plugin that suggests related posts?
Related-post widgets bolt a list onto the bottom of the page. Content Agents places contextual links inside the prose — each suggestion comes with anchor text and the specific paragraph where it belongs, and can be woven in at generation time before the draft even reaches you. It also maintains the other half of the job plugins skip: a live graph of every internal link, orphan detection, and inbound-count tracking after every publish.
What does setup involve?
Nothing for the core flow — the link graph builds itself from every publish, and the Scan button works on any article immediately. Two optional toggles live in Settings: post-publish link suggestions (on by default) and auto-inject at generation (off by default, and it activates once you have at least five published articles so there is a real library to link into).
Does the AI insert links into my articles without asking?
Suggestions never auto-apply — you review each card, can edit the anchor text, and confirm before anything touches the article. The one exception is opt-in: auto-inject at generation, which you enable deliberately, and even that is safety-checked — if the returned HTML looks shortened or malformed, it is discarded and your draft is left untouched.
Why do internal links matter enough to automate?
They are how authority and discovery flow through your site. A well-linked article can be reached by readers and crawlers from multiple entry points; an orphan can only be found through search or luck. As your library grows, keeping every article connected by hand stops scaling — which is why most sites quietly accumulate orphans. Automating the graph keeps the structure healthy at any size.
