Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the regular rich-text editor?
The regular editor is a formatted text box — you write in one pane and see a preview in another. The Visual Editor renders your actual site layout (your brand theme, hero image, fonts, sidebar) and lets you edit inline inside that rendered view. The gap between "what I see while writing" and "what readers see" is zero.
Do I need to switch back to the regular editor for anything?
The Visual Editor covers the most common editing tasks — inline text edits, quick AI rewrites, media insertion, and AI agent access. For bulk structural changes (reordering large sections, HTML editing) you can switch back to the rich-text editor at any time; both modes share the same underlying article. Most writers never leave the Visual Editor once they try it.
What happens to my edits if I accidentally click outside a block?
Edits commit when you click outside the active block — the change is captured and queued for autosave. Nothing is lost. You'll see the "Saving…" indicator appear and disappear within about two seconds.
Can the AI agents see which paragraph I'm editing?
Yes — that's the whole point of the contextual bubble. When you open Agent Superpower from a block or text selection, the agent receives that specific paragraph as its working context. The Writing Assistant knows you want to improve that one sentence, not the whole article.
Does it work on mobile?
The Visual Editor is optimised for desktop use — editing a 1200-word article on a phone is uncomfortable regardless of the tool. The full article editor, including visual mode, is available on mobile, but for serious editing we recommend a laptop or large tablet.
